Traci Lindesmith, Director of Resident Health Services, Completes Prestigious ICAA Foundation for Wellness Program

At Westminster, wellness is more than a program. It is a commitment to helping residents live healthier, more purposeful, and more fulfilling lives. That commitment was recently strengthened as Traci Lindesmith, Director of Resident Health Services, graduated from the ICAA Foundation for Wellness Certificate Course, an industry-leading professional development program offered by the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA).

As the senior living industry continues to evolve, wellness has become a central focus for both residents and providers. Through this intensive program, Traci gained advanced knowledge and practical strategies designed to support whole-person wellness, including physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual well-being.

“We’re incredibly proud of Traci for earning this important certification and for her dedication to promoting residents’ wellness,” said Chuck Borst, Executive Director of Westminster. “Ensuring our associates receive the highest levels of training and access to industry-leading resources is vitally important and reflects our commitment to providing the finest experiences for those who work here and those who live here. As always, our goal is to be Extraordinary, Together.”

This achievement reflects both Traci’s dedication to professional growth and LCS’s commitment to advancing wellness across its communities nationwide. As the nation’s leader in senior living management, LCS believes wellness should be integrated into every aspect of community life, empowering residents to pursue their passions, maintain independence, and thrive at every stage of aging.

The curriculum explores the foundational principles of wellness and healthy aging, equipping participants with evidence-based strategies to create meaningful programs and experiences that support resident engagement and well-being. Coursework includes the science of wellness, behavior change, program development, and best practices for fostering a culture of wellness.

The knowledge gained through this program will help enhance wellness offerings at Westminster, ensuring residents continue to benefit from innovative programming and personalized opportunities that support their goals and interests.
