Westminster Residents Celebrate 100 Years of the Austin High Red Jackets

For 100 years, the Austin High School Red Jackets have been part of the fabric of this city — bringing generations together through tradition, school spirit and a shared love of Austin.

That history came full circle recently as several Westminster residents who once proudly wore the Red Jackets joined in celebrating the group’s 100th anniversary. Their stories are a wonderful reminder that the experiences that shape us don’t simply become memories — they stay with us, connect us and continue to be part of who we are.

The celebration was recently featured by KXAN, highlighting the enduring legacy of this beloved Austin tradition.

At Westminster, we love moments like these — when personal history, community and connection come together in a way that feels truly Extraordinary, Together.
