Westminster Awarded 2018 Austin “Top Workplaces”

Austin, Texas (November 7, 2018) – For the fifth year in a row, Westminster has been named a “Top Workplace” by the Austin American-Statesman. Of the 145 total workplaces surveyed, Westminster took ninth among mid-size Central Texas companies.

The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage,LLC (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. Employees are asked to rate their employers on issues such as pay and benefits, leadership and direction, ethics and values and how well employees are treated.

As one of the first senior living communities established in the state of Texas, Westminster has been a member of the Austin community for 51 years. “Our employees are higly respected by the residents at Westminster and love their work. Our turnover is very low because we train and promote our employees through the ranks, and across departments. We try very hard to keep Westminster a family- friendly, work-friendly community,” says Chuck Borst, Executive Director.
