Westminster Again Named Top Workplace by Austin American-Statesman
“Workplace satisfaction is a team effort,” said Kim Ogden, Westminster’s director of human resources.
“Employees are our number one asset and we strive to help them grow personally and professionally. For example, recently one of our talented nurse aides utilized our tuition reimbursement to become a licensed vocational nurse. The Top Workplaces award is a testament to our diverse and motivated employment culture, energized by the many success stories that make Westminster one of the best places to work in Austin.”
“The Top Workplaces award is not a popularity contest. And oftentimes, people assume it’s all about fancy perks and benefits.” says Doug Claffey, CEO of WorkplaceDynamics. “But to be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health. And who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day—the employees.”
Anonymous surveys were conducted by WorkplaceDynamics. Workers rated employers on issues such as leadership and direction, ethics and values, compensation and professional camaraderie. Top employers were highlighted in the Austin American-Statesman on Nov. 13, 2016.
