Westminster Celebrates 11th Year as a Winner of the 2024 Greater Austin Top Workplaces Award

Austin, Texas, December 2, 2024 – For the 11th consecutive year, Westminster retirement community located in Central Austin has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2024 honor by the Austin American-Statesman Top Workplaces program. Westminster also achieved high honors in Workplace Cultural Excellence subcategories, including Workplace Appreciation, Professional Development, and Employee Well-Being for mid-size workplaces with 150 to 499 employees.
Westminster has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2024 honor based on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC.
According to Kim Ogden, Westminster’s director of human resources, “Westminster is constantly recruiting new team members and we are especially pleased to see higher praises in this year’s survey from new hires who took part in our Extraordinary Onboarding program. The senior living industry is one of the fastest-growing employment sectors in Texas. We hope this recognition will attract more people to our industry offering jobs across the employment spectrum, from healthcare to technology to food and beverage to transportation.”

My manager Olga Villarreal is
awesome. She encourages us and always asks if there is anything she can do to make our job go smoothly. We also have so many great amenities as an employee! We love our Treehouse! We have a gym, a rest area and amazing food for a great price! I feel so blessed to work at such a great place.”
