“Life: A New Age In Retirement” Westminster’s Annual Report Wins MarCom Gold Award
Crossnore Group, a 10-year-old Austin-based public relations and marketing firm earned MarCom’s Gold Award for their “LIFE: A New Age in Retirement” annual report, and an Honorable Mention award for their work organizing a visit by author and former technology writer for the New York Times, Eric Taub. Both award winning projects were executed for Crossnore Group’s longtime client, Westminster, one of Austin’s first and most premiere retirement communities, located near downtown Austin.
Crossnore has built a reputation on creating concepts featuring Westminster residents in the annual report, illustrating the authenticity of the community. The magazine details the happenings of the previous year, creating a special narrative that introduces readers to interesting and ambitious people who live who share different perspectives on the possibilities of retirement—all found at Westminster.
Dedicated also to the changing world of technology, Crossnore looks for ways to help seniors understand technology and to appreciate the strategies but also the humor of social media. Nationally renowned author and New York Times writer Eric Taub hosted a presentation at Westminster that summarized trends among constantly-changing technology to an audience that invented the space program.
